That’s a Wrap

May 31, 2019 | Weekly Update

We wrapped up the 2018-19 academic year last Saturday with the largest number of graduates ever in single quarter (1,100) and a full academic year (2,009). Legendary alumnus Terry Bradshaw returned home to speak to the graduates in morning and evening ceremonies that packed the TAC. This commencement was notable in that it was the last commencement in Tech’s 125-year history, and certainly, Terry Bradshaw has to be one of the most notable graduates to bring national and global recognition to his alma mater over that period. It was a great day!

While the last week of class prior to commencement was jammed full of activities across campus, things really got quiet on campus Tuesday after a Memorial Day break. It’s nice to have a break in activities, but I sure miss seeing all of the students and faculty on campus.  Nevertheless, we took advantage of the time to have planning and budgeting meetings to get ready for the new academic year that begins in July.

Hope you enjoy a few of my favorite pics from the past couple of weeks:
