Student Leader Quenton Buckhalter stops by the office
After spending a long week-end on the road watching the Bulldogs win the game over the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in Bowling Green, it was good to be back in the office this week. I had numerous meetings with members of my administrative team, faculty, prospective faculty and prospective students. A lot of our focus was on the last two days of enrollment as we were processing those final students for the Fall Quarter. We were pleased to announce on Wednesday a record enrollment of 12,873 students reflecting a 4th consecutive year of growth in our student body. I am so grateful for the work of our faculty and staff in building the best overall student body that I have seen at Tech and they have set the table for a brighter future for our institution.

On Thursday, we held a dedication and ribbon-cutting for our new food court called “Tech Table.” We had an excellent turnout of people from the Chamber of Commerce and the campus to join in on this celebration. Special thanks to our food services partner Aramark for working with us to build the wonderful facility that will truly make dining a special experience for our students and campus community.
