We are so pleased that Tech alumnus and legend Jeremy Davis is returning to Ruston with The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra at the Howard Center for Performing Arts at 7:30 PM on February 13th. Jeremy did a fantastic “Concert in the Quad” last spring, and volunteered to return “Back Where it All Began” with his full orchestra for this special event.

As one of the events celebrating the 25th anniversary of the founding of the School of the Performing Arts, our “Silver Sounds” concert is the signature fund raising event for the School. Jeremy Davis and Clay Johnson are Tech alums and played in the Tech jazz ensemble while students. Accompanied by the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra, they have created a unique sound that pays tribute to the works of music greats like Frank Sinatra, Patrick Williams, and Michael Buble. Jeremy and his orchestra have played in concert halls throughout the country and are returning to where it all began – in Howard Auditorium –

after a concert in New York City at the Iridium Jazz Club. Featuring contemporary renditions of classics from the swing and big band era, this performance is guaranteed to bring you to your feet!
All proceeds will be used for scholarships for students majoring in Theater or Music. Our goal is to raise $30,000. Tickets range from $250 (silver star tickets, which will be recognized in the program) to $10 (for students). We want all students to be able to afford the kind of quality education that is the hallmark of Louisiana Tech. Jeremy Davis will also be meeting with students and talking about the opportunities in the music and theater business.

This will be an evening where you can relax, enjoy some great music, celebrate Valentines Day early, and help support some Tech performing arts students as they become future stars! Plan to come out with your sweetheart and enjoy the evening. Be sure to get your tickets now!
Tickets are available at the Howard Center for the Performing Arts box office or online at the Performing Arts website,
